Privacy notice
Written by the platform owner, in plain language.
Demo environment. No real payment, ownership transfer, or legally binding exchange is completed through this test platform.
The short version
You browse and negotiate under an alias and a general area. Your real name, exact address, email and phone stay hidden until you choose to reveal them to one specific swap partner.
What is public
Your alias, general location, FoxScore, verification badges, bio, and anything you publish as a listing, want or skill. Assume everything in those fields is visible to any signed-in member.
What is private
Real name, contact email, phone number and exact location live in a separate protected record. Only you can read them by default, and access is controlled by database-level rules rather than by the interface hiding a field.
Progressive disclosure
Each swap has its own disclosure level. Raising it for one partner does not reveal anything to anyone else, and you can lower it again at any time from FoxShield in FoxDen.
Messages
Messages inside a swap are stored so both sides keep a record, and staff can read them only when a dispute or report is opened about that swap.
Verification
Verification on this test platform is simulated. No identity documents are collected, uploaded or stored, and badges only reflect a demonstration of the review flow.
Cookies and analytics
A sign-in session is stored in your browser so you stay logged in. There is no advertising tracking on this platform.
Your choices
You can edit or delete any listing, want or skill, clear your private contact record, and ask for your account to be removed. Deleting your account removes your profile and private record; swap history kept for the other party is anonymised to your alias.
Controls for all of this live in FoxShield privacy controls.
